Terms of Use

Pulse Athletica · Last updated 11 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Alexander Maurice Cesarios ("we", "us") covering your use of the Pulse Athletica app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

What the app does

Pulse Athletica records your training, nutrition and body measurements, generates training programs and nutritional targets, keeps an optional log of medication you choose to record, stores blood test results you choose to import, and shows progress over time. Some features are free; others require a subscription.

This is not medical advice. Pulse Athletica is a fitness and self-tracking tool, not a medical device or a healthcare service. The programs, calorie and macronutrient targets, readiness scores and exercise demonstrations are general information, not personalised medical, dietary or clinical advice, and no doctor–patient or practitioner–client relationship is created by using it.

The medication log is a diary, not a medical record or a dosing schedule. It stores only what you type into it. It does not identify what you enter, does not check doses, does not warn about interactions or side effects, and never suggests how much or how often to take anything. If you record how often you take something, the log marks the days that follow from the frequency you entered so you can tick them off; that schedule is the one you typed, and the app does not check it against any prescription. You can set your own reminders, which go off only at the times and on the days you choose and show only the label you write; the app does not decide when anything should be taken, and a reminder that fails to arrive, because notifications are off, the phone is off or for any other reason, is not a substitute for your own arrangements. Do not rely on it in place of your prescriber's or pharmacist's instructions, and never use it to decide whether to take something. You are responsible for obtaining and using any medicine lawfully and as directed by a qualified professional.

Pathology results are shown, not interpreted. When you import a blood test report the app reads the numbers your laboratory printed and shows them back to you against the reference range that same laboratory printed beside them. It does not calculate its own ranges, does not decide whether a result is a problem, does not diagnose, and does not tell you what to do about anything. Values are read automatically and can be misread, which is why you are shown every one before it is saved — check them against your report, and treat your report and the doctor who ordered it as the authority, not this app. Never use what you see here to start, stop or change any treatment.

Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training or nutrition program, particularly if you are pregnant, injured, managing a medical condition, or taking medication. Stop and seek medical attention if you feel unwell while exercising. You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for performing exercises safely and within your ability.

Your account

Subscriptions

Pulse Premium unlocks structured training programs, program import, pathology tracking, analytics, exercise demonstration videos and Apple Health sync, and it is what lets you keep adding to your nutrition diary and medication log. It is offered as a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription.

What you have already recorded stays readable without a subscription. If a subscription lapses, your nutrition diary and medication log remain open to read, export and delete — they are a record of your own eating and your own treatment, and we do not hold them hostage. What a subscription buys on those screens is continuing to add to them.

Free features

Some features are available without a subscription. We may change what is included in the free tier. If we move something you rely on behind the subscription, we will tell you in the app first.

Your content

The training, nutrition and body data you enter remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, process it and show it back to you — nothing more. We do not use it to train models, and we do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy for how it is handled.

If you import a training program, you are responsible for having the right to use that material.

Our content

The app, its design, and the exercise library and demonstration videos are owned by us or licensed to us. You may use them inside the app for your own training. You may not copy, redistribute, resell or extract the exercise content, or use it to build a competing product.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.

Availability

We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change, and we may discontinue parts of the service. The app depends on services we do not control, including Apple's.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete account, which permanently removes your data. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription — do that in your App Store settings.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, the app is provided "as is", and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury arising from exercise you choose to perform. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Pulse Athletica after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
